Below are designers that we know of who are participating in this event. Please let us know if you hear of any others!

Really Clear Designs

Really Clear Designs will be releasing a hat pattern on Ravelry on September 1, containing the supply list. (The pattern will cleverly be called Make a Hat Day.) On September 15, mystery clues will be released every few hours so that knitters can spend the day making a hat. More information (and to get a shop-owner copy if you own a knitting store): cynthia@reallyclear.com. The hat requires about 100 yards each of a dark and a light worsted-weight yarn.

SiTrendsetter Yarns

Trendsetter Yarns has a new and unique hat pattern, designed by Barry Klein and knit in Lana Grossa Cool Merino Degrade’. It takes 1 skein. The style starts at the crown and builds out from there, working a new increase pattern called “Star” increase. It’s very decorative and because of how the stitches increase, the style is repeated only a few times to get to the simple stitch count for the hat. Shops can reach out to Info@Trendsetteryarns.com to get/order the pattern.
