The one thing no one seems to tell you when you’re opening your retail shop is that staffing is going to be, hands down, the most difficult part. in many ways, it is going to be the one factor you have the least control over.
In this class, three LYS owners from different parts of the country with decades of experience between them, will discuss the ins and outs of hiring, training and keeping staff. We’ll discuss how to know when you’re ready to have employees, some of the financial/bookkeeping aspects of paying staff and our different approaches to training and managing them once you’ve hired someone. We’ll also talk about how to make staff feel valued and reward them as well as what to do when things maybe don’t go so well.
